Greyhound
Tim is our 8 year old rescued Greyhound who we acquired in 2002 from Greyhound Welfare.
In 2004 he suffered an horrific injury to his right foreleg in a road traffic accident; his leg was snapped in two, held together only by a small piece of flesh. Seeing the damage to his leg was probably one of the worst moments of my life. I was truly amazed when the local vet said that he could fix it and that he need not necessarily lose his leg. It took about six months of painful and traumatic treatment, including having to wear a metal frame
on his leg, until he was able to walk on the leg. He still has a slight limp and can’t bend the leg properly, but as you will see from the various photos of Tim, it doesn’t hold him back at all.
